Coming
from the Missouri Ozarks, are the Bartons. The
music is considered Southern / Progressive Southern
by most. Curtis and Linda Barton have been in
the music world for over forty years. Singing
in the lower Midwest, performing and writing songs
for their ministry, as well as for other
groups. Today's members are Curt & Linda,
along with the great voice of Amy Wright. The
current Ozarks' hit is "Who Made That Ugly
Monkey". What makes this an even better
testimony is, Linda has MS Disease and on the days
kust prior to Christmas 07, balance made her fall
and she broke one leg, and four weeks later, broke
the other. Learning to walk has been
difficult. But because of these many trials,
songs have emerged to sing with such extra
meaning. Their own music publishing company is
Barton-Lady Music.
